About Us
Credencel Field (CF1), formerly known as Vital Oil, was founded by Chan Seng Chai. In 2000, after a successful career, Mr. Chan transitioned into a new venture in the fuel additives industry. After a two-year hiatus, he established two companies, Top Point and Vita Award.
In the same year, CF1 acquired a unique formula for fuel additives, which Mr. Chan had previously invested in. This acquisition was a milestone that led to the launch of CF1’s initial product line, including CF1-8, CF1-5000, and CF1-600, all focused on advanced additive technology.
In 2001, CF1 encountered challenges with its precursor, Vital, particularly regarding palm oil-related difficulties. Despite setbacks, Mr. Chan's resolve to explore new avenues remained unwavering. He directed his efforts towards developing products like the IV67 Spec, engineered to prevent oil solidification, aimed at the engine protector additive market.
CF1’s branding journey began in 2003 with the launch of its Compressor Protector Additive, marking its rebranding from Credencel Field to Certified Formula One (CF1). Sparked by a successful test in an air conditioning workshop in Seremban, CF1 introduced the product in Malaysia, starting in Kelantan. The additive quickly gained popularity among Malay dealers, with over 100 attendees at promotional events. Despite limited experience in the air conditioning field, CF1’s strategic bundling led to strong sales and growing brand recognition, especially in southern Malaysia.
Here In 2004, confronted with the challenge of managing two distinct brands, CF1 opted to consolidate its efforts under a unified banner. This strategic decision resulted in the rebranding from Vital Oil to CF1, streamlining operations and optimizing resources for enhanced efficiency. Concurrently, CF1 redirected its focus towards research and development, signaling a renewed commitment to innovation.
The year 2006 marked a significant milestone for CF1 as it ventured into the domain of motorsports, participating in esteemed events such as the Rally Race and Sepang Circuit. This foray into motorsports not only bolstered CF1's brand visibility but also underscored its dedication to pushing boundaries and embracing novel challenges.
In 2012, CF1 diversified its product portfolio with the introduction of engine oils, incorporating lubricant variants such as CF1 Synthetic Plus 10W-40 and 5W-30, alongside Semi Synthetic options. This expansion broadened CF1's offerings, catering to the varied needs of its dientele and reinforcing its standing as a comprehensive provider of automotive solutions.
CF1 continued to demonstrate its commitment to excellence by actively participating in exhibitions and industry events. This proactive approach to engagement enabled CF1 to stay abreast of emerging trends and maintain its competitive edge in the market.
The year 2022 marked another milestone for CF1 with the introduction of transmission system products. This latest addition to CF1's product lineup reaffirmed its status as an industry leader, perpetually innovating to address the evolving demands of the automotive sector.
